Tom Keane, Technology Executive

Tom Keane is a technology executive and founder of the online ad network Q Media. He has a history in the internet advertising industry, holding leadership positions at WPP Group, Interactive Regs, and most recently as chief product officer at Intent Media. His experience in advertising and media has given him insight into how digital marketing is changing the landscape of online advertising. 

 

Today he lives a happy life with his wife Sarah and their three children — twins aged 11 and five years old — who bring him immense joy every day, as Tom Keane states. The software developer and engineer serves on the board of the New York-based nonprofit City Year. He is a founding member of a number of private and public interest groups, including The Internet Association (TIA).

 

It also includes the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), the Partnership for New York City, the Clinton Global Initiative, and The Children’s Aid Society (the C.A.S.). Tom Keane is a trustee at Barnard College. Keane also sits on the board of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and is a member of the Council for Foreign Relations.

Keane has held leadership positions with numerous companies, including WPP’s Interactive Regs, where he was chief executive officer for two years. Also, Digital Advertising Clearance Association (DACC), where he was executive vice president of operations. He is a father of three. In honor of his late father who died of cancer in 2006, Keane created a video called “A Day in the Life of Tom Keane” that was featured on NBC News Channel.
