Damien Granderson is an entertainment lawyer and is a founding partner of his boutique entertainment firm. He and his other founding partner, Guy Blake, met 15 years before while they were working on a deal for record distribution. At the time they were lawyers, attached to different companies.
Granderson was an in-house lawyer at Koch Entertainment at that time. He and Guy Blake then became colleagues at Davis Shapiro. Damien Granderson explains that that was after they struck the record distribution deal. There he collaborated and worked together with Blake for different clients.
Out of their collaboration inspiration came for a legal firm to give clients a team of lawyers. Instead of one attorney, his vision was to give clients a team with a range of expertise. Damien Granderson wanted to have a team to meet their different and varying needs. It was a vision of a law practice staffed with talented and experienced attorneys. And they would come from diverse backgrounds.

It has been over three years since he started the firm in July 2019. It has established offices in Beverly Hills and New York and served with a team of 18 lawyers. Since then, Damien Granderson has managed deals for many big names in the business. They include deals with such names as McDonald’s, Fortnite, and UMG for J Balvin. Nicki Minaj and Young Thug are also among his clients.
