N.J. has led marketing for some of the biggest startups in Silicon Valley and New York City, including WooCommerce (the most popular WordPress eCommerce plugin), Udemy (the world’s leading learning company), and Lumoid (the Netflix for electronics). N.J. also previously served as Associate Director at WPP, specializing in driving demand generation campaigns for Fortune 500 clients like Accenture, IBM, and Deloitte.
Before joining the WPP, NJ was a member of the Capital Markets group at Ogilvy Public Relations & Communications. He led social media and new product marketing campaigns for clients like PepsiCo, Target, and Nationwide Insurance. He also served as an account executive at Kaplan Test Prep (the country’s number one test prep company), where he successfully launched their new financial literacy business and spearheaded their expansion into online retailing.
NJ is an alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a B.S. in Economics and Sociology. He also completed his graduate work at the Gallatin School at NYU, receiving a Certificate in Global Social Enterprise and Social Entrepreneurship. He regularly lectures at top universities, including Stanford, NYU, Columbia, Wharton, and Yale, on social media strategy, entrepreneurship, and digital marketing.
