Randy Douthit is an award-winning producer and director who has been behind the scenes of iconic shows such as the Emmy-winning CNN Crossfire, NBC’s Today Show, and Fox News. He is considered a pioneer in reality TV production, having worked on shows like Dog Bites Man and The Biggest Loser. Randy is currently the co-Executive Producer of the hit court show Judy Justice. Randy has seen a lot during his career, but the pandemic has presented a new challenge as a producer.
“It has been a tremendous challenge,” he admits, “but it’s also been a great time to innovate. We’ve had to figure out how to produce a television show and keep everyone safe at the same time. We’ve had to come up with creative solutions to continue production and still maintain our high standards.” Randy’s hard work has paid off, as Judy Justice has become a syndication and streaming hit.
“It has been an honor to be part of the team that made the show such a success,” says Randy. He credits his success to his experience in the industry and his passion for the work he does. His journey in the world of television has not been easy, but he continues to stay positive and keep growing, despite the obstacles of the pandemic. “We’ve had to be nimble, flexible and creative,” he says.
