Although the state continues to appeal this decision, this ruling is a step in the right direction. We must continue our fight against government overreach and freedom of conscience. There are many similar cases around the country that deserve legal support. This is why Alliance Defending Freedom was created: to defend the right of people to freely live out their faith in all aspects of life, whether at home, in church, or at work.
The Alliance Defending Freedom is a great organization for the pro-abortion left to fear and attack. They don’t want you to know about this case or their other cases helping the persecuted around the world, like that of Meriam Yehya Ibrahim, who was sentenced to death in Sudan for her Christian beliefs.
Moreover, they don’t want you to know about the many others who, similarly to the two pharmacists in this case, have been forced to act contrary to their faith. This determination of “all people who believe in a religion and work as their employees” is an open invitation for any single-issue pro-abortion activist or any state that wants to implement their own version of single-issue laws. The Alliance Defending Freedom legal team will be watching for even more cases like this and fighting for freedom around the country.
