The organization was established in 1994 by Dr. Frank Artuso, Joe Micale and Darryl Sherman to provide personalized care and medication delivery to patients across the United States.
AIS’s Targeted Drug Delivery (TDD) division provides medications where they are needed most. The risk of oral opioid abuse is greatly diminished with TDD. In a single year, AIS generates about 140,000 prescriptions. It provides nationwide care for over 34,000 patients through its TDD segment. These crucial prescriptions are prepared by more than 40 pharmacists and 20 nurses give provide direct patient care.
